What was needed was an emergency locksmith service. Before any agreement took place, I was told the exact price over the phone, regardless of the difficulty; so the opposite of what one often hears in the press about such services. Very professional. Since I live outside of Kreuznach, it unfortunately became significantly more expensive than the usual price; here, some improvement could be made. Nevertheless, the costs remained reasonable for a 60 km journey. At the beginning, my ID was correctly checked. When the actual task turned into a piece of cake -- I was already informed at the beginning that the price would not change -- I got a new cylinder lock along with professional installation at a dream price. The lock is okay again and the door closes better than ever.
